Wednesday’s Wandering

Okay, so it’s Wednesday, match day. I’m on the tennis court in a town forty-five minutes away so my post will be brief and frivolous. And since I was forced to watch Idol alone (My Better Half thinks he’s above it and my kids were in bed), I’m just going to scream this one…..DAVID COOK!!!!!
I have really, really liked his cool factor from the beginning. But last night stunned me. This guy is the real deal. I love it. I love that show for introducing us to talent like his. And I just hope that the ten year olds propping up David Archuleta will somehow grow the hell up and recognize the true rock star in the bunch.
For those of you that are not Idol fans just tune in here for a second and see what I’m talking about.

i posted my own idol review, so here i’ll just say that i agree with you. cook was phenomenal. good luck today!
Going over to watch it. Have totally tuned out for this season of Idol as I am saving my TV time for the Bachelor. I know, I know, I know what you are thinking. Please don’t say it out loud.
Anyway, good luck on your match and beat the tennis bracelets off of your opponents.
I was watching this at a friend’s place last night and we had the sound low so I didn’t really hear the performance. But I saw his baby photo and that made me giggle. Boy that kid has a cranium on him!
Unfortunately, for the past six months I haven’t watched any tv show not involving a political commentator, so I have no idea what you’re talking about.
On the other hand, I enjoy your blog so much, I stop by and read what you’ve written EVEN when I have no idea what you’re talking about.

I know. The COOLEST version of Billie Jean. Seriously who would have thought?
I Tivo’d it and will watch it tonight. Sounds a bit surprising.
Groan! American Idol is on smack in the middle of bed time in our house. I always miss it. Not that I can complain to vociferously, it’s not exactly something you can pout about in public.
hey how is the filipino girl doing?
I agree. Except I Hate His Hair. What is it, a FlippyDip? Is it hiding something? Or am I missing the reference?
